Marina de Badalona offers you the services of the Marina Seca, a competitive, green solution so that smaller boats can rest in dry dock just a stone’s throw from the sea.
It’s an option that minimises the cost of maintaining and looking after your boat while allowing you to enjoy the sea immediately from the moment you decide to take to the water. You just have to connect via the website. We notify you on your mobile phone and you just arrive at the marina and embark.
To go out sailing, all you need to do is ask for your boat to be launched (unlimited movements) at least two hours in advance. You don’t need to worry about another thing.

FREQUENT QUESTIONS
A competitive, green alternative to mooring in the water allowing boats shorter than 8 metres long to rest in dry dock, a stone’s throw from the sea. It’s an approach minimising the cost of maintaining and conserving your boat while allowing you to enjoy the sea without delays.
With an innovative system using a virtual diary that any user can make use of after registering as a customer for this service. Go to the Marina de Badalona website and enter the customer area with your user name and password. The Dry Dock diary appears and you can book any available day and time you want. When your boat is in the water, we inform you with a message to your mobile. You can also book in person at the Harbourmaster’s Office, but always using the computer program. The customer area allows you to check your invoices online and give information about people who are authorised to use your boat, as well as passing on any comments to the Marina.
The times when the service is offered depend on whether it is high or low season. The summer, or high season, covers the period from April to September, and the service operates from 6am to 8pm. Low season, or winter, covers the period from October to March, and the service operates from 6am to 4pm. If you bring back the boat later than 4pm or 8pm (depending on the season) it will have to go to moorings at a special price for Dry Dock users. Check out the ten-night season ticket service.
The contract is for one month, six months or a year from the date it is signed.
The Dry Dock contract includes the safekeeping and custody of boats on the premises, launching the boat and moving it between the water and the Dry Dock whenever requested by the user, always in accordance with the service operation conditions. It also covers Marina de Badalona staff washing the hull with fresh water after every outing. The following are excluded from this service: the loading or unloading of the boat on to a trailer or the esplanade and the cleaning of the boat beyond the above specifications. There are rates for all these services. Please check if you need them.
We put boats in the water ready to sail at the agreed time. If the user does not arrive within a maximum of 30 minutes of the time booked, boats will be put back on their shelves in the Dry Dock and a surcharge will be applied equivalent to the current high-season transit rate for a 10 x 3.5 boat, in accordance with the Badalona Marina and Fishing Port rates at the time when this occurs. In any of these circumstances, the cost will be charged to the account with the number provided by the user for paying fees on the working day following the day the service was provided or when the boat is returned.
Users who do not pay their bills may be refused the sea launch service for the boat.
The valid measurement for this type of contract will be that made by Badalona Marina staff, always in the presence of the user.
Access to the Dry Dock is not allowed for any boat without current insurance. If the insurance expires during the contract year, the boat may be refused service.
Users may book the service from a maximum of 1 month to a minimum of 2 hours before it is actually required. In the case of bookings made in person at the Badalona Marina offices, the minimum notice for launching boats will be the day before the service is required. Whenever possible, depending on the volume of bookings and services required, the boat may be launched before the established time. The user will be notified of this via the means established for the purpose.
Users may put themselves on a waiting list for a particular date and time provided they do not have another date booked on the service calendar. They may authorise third parties to pick up their boats. To do so they must give notice in the section established for the purpose on the website booking diary Badalona, giving the authorised person’s details. Such authorised people will have to identify themselves so their credentials can be checked by Badalona Marina staff.
To keep the service running properly, boats must come into the dry dock clean and free of incrustations, and their exterior maintenance will be checked.
