Marina de Badalona SA is a commercial company, initially with public capital, founded on 23 May 2000 for an indefinite period. Its corporate purpose is the complete management of the process of urban remodelling and economic development of the Badalona seafront in the context of the redevelopment of the city ordered by the City Council, forming part of the growth of the surrounding area, and the construction, management and running of Badalona\u2019s Marina and Fishing Port.<\/p>\n

The company is 50% owned by Badalona City Council and 50% by the Government of Catalonia. Marina de Badalona is the company holding the concession to manage and run the port, which it obtained from the Executive Council of the Government of Catalonia on 22 January 2002, and it is the planning authority acting as part of the cooperative process of managing the Special Plan for Badalona Port by agreement of the City Council.<\/p>\n
