Presentation of the Trobada de Velers Tradicionals of May 2023

The stand of the Catalan Federation for Culture and Maritime and River Heritage at the Barcelona Boat Show (Stand 624 Street E Level 0 of Pavilion 2) hosts on Wednesday, October 12th at 6:00 p.m. the presentation of the event at the Port of Badalona on May 6th and 7th: the meeting of sailboats that will become a Festival of the Culture of the Sea in the first weekend of the May Festivities. The Quetx Ciutat Badalona will host a meeting in which the Santa Eulalia and the San Ramon have already confirmed their participation. Cantaquetx will perform. We wait for you.

Marina Badalona, first stage of a renewed Golden Cup regatta (October 28th-30th)

The Golden Cup is a high-altitude regatta with three past editions that was born from the collaboration between Difusión Náutica, the Skipper Nautical Club and Marina Vela, to which Marina Badalona joins in this edition and new format. All the details of this new edition that will be held from October 28th to 30th at the America’s Cup regatta field will be presented on Thursday the 13th at 11:00 a.m. at the stand of the Catalan Association of Sports and Tourist Ports Stand 486, Street D, Level 0 of Pavilion 2. The Port of Badalona, pioneer in the practice of the Dragon Boat

The appointment of October 19th, International Day of the Fight against Breast Cancer, and the therapeutic benefits of the practice of the Dragon Boat, which has been held in the Port of Badalona for 5 years, are the axes of this presentation, framed in the lines of work of the Maritime Strategy 2030 that promotes the beneficial relationship between the sea and citizens. Marina de Badalona, Picam Cancer and DragonBoatEmotions will present the Row Against Cancer project on Thursday the 13th at 6:00 p.m. at the Generalitat de Catalunya stand (610 Street 3, Level 0, Pavilion 2). A team of women who practice this discipline will also assist you on Thursday, October 14th, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at stand number 606 of the Department of Climate Action, Agriculture and Rural Agenda. And finally, there will be a Dragon Boat test open to everyone on Saturday, October 15th, in the Port of Badalona.

Advances in steps to bring the sea closer to the city through the canal

You will find us at the Ports de Catalunya stand (ACPET-486) to inform you about the progress of the Port of Badalona canal project, which will further connect the sea with the city through the 350-meter Rambla-Canal , from the axis of the Municipal Olympic Pavilion to the promenade and the sea. With 200 moorings, 750 m of pontoons and 6,000 m2 of new commercial and leisure spaces.

Extension of the shipyard to improve the service to the existing demand

We are working to transform the Port of Badalona shipyard in a few months by expanding the area (from 7,000m2 to 14,00m2), installing a new pit 30 meters long and 10 meters wide, incorporating a new 200-ton travel lift, among other improvements to provide a future response and service to existing demand.
