1. ONCE YOUR MOORING IS CONFIRMED
To make the paperwork easier when you arrive, once we have confirmed your booking, we will ask you to send us the following documents:
• The boat’s registration
• Valid insurance
• The boat owner’s passport or Spanish identity card

2. WHEN YOU ARRIVE AT THE MARINA
• Let us know on channel 9 VHF or by telephoning +34 933 207 500 and we’ll tell you where to moor. Marina staff will be waiting to help you with the manoeuvre.
3. LEASING MOORINGS
- If you prefer, you have the option to buy the preferential right to use a mooring. That does not mean you own the mooring (as the sea is public property). Instead, you acquire the right to use it for an agreed period. For further information, don’t hesitate to contact us. We will answer any query you send us.

Moorings are not actually sold, they are leased under a Transfer of Preferential Usage rights (TPU), lasting as long as the concession period, established at 30 years. The effective duration, from the time sale began, is actually about 28 years, because of the two years established for works.
Transfer means the mooring is not owned in the traditional sense of the word, as the sea is a publicly owned asset. A person who leases the mooring acquires preferential usage rights over the mooring space for the period agreed in exchange for money paid to the concession holder, Marina de Badalona SA.
Yes, provided the transfer is handled by the Marina management and has its permission. Marina de Badalona, SA has preferential rights to purchase it. If this right is not exercised when offered, the holder may freely transfer mooring rights to a third person. The person who acquires it will be subrogated in the rights and obligations of the transferred title for the remaining time of the concession.
Yes, provided the Marina is notified. This is done through the Marina’s administrative and management services and at the prices established for charged public use (CPU).
All the rights will pass to their legal heirs.
Once this period has finished, all rights of both the holder and of the third parties will be extinguished. Holders of TPUs will enjoy preferential rights to continue using the mooring in accordance with the Catalan Ports Act.
