The race from Port Vell in Barcelona to Badalona marina is the only one organised to coincide with the Barcelona Boat Show

Top-class canoeing and the wonderful Barcelona coastline make the perfect combination in Padel Race 2021, organised by the canoeing club based at the Marina (Barcelona Caiac). From a spectacular start at the Boat Show (Port Vell) to a hotly disputed finish at Badalona marina, the courses – 15 kilometres (long) and 11.5 kilometres (short) always have a spectacular skyline as a backdrop. The competition, bringing together about 50 international canoeists from different formats, such as traditional kayaking and surf ski, includes the final of the Catalan Canoeing Cup.  For the first time, additional activities will be scheduled on the Saturday (17th) and a taster course using a Polynesian boat is planned – the first of its kind in Catalonia.
