“Metamodel of the Sustainable Digital Port”, theme of the day of the Mobile Week Catalonia 2022

The Port of Badalona hosts on Tuesday the presentation day of the Mobile Week 2022 in the city by Àlex Montornès, first deputy mayor of Economic Impulse and Covid Reconstruction of the City of Badalona. They will be accompanied by Montornès, Mercè Rius, General Director of Transport and Mobility of the Generalitat de Catalunya; Christian Carneado, 6th Lieutenant of Mayor’s Office and Councilor for the Government and Security Area of the City of Badalona; i Imanol Sanz, manager of Marina Badalona.

It will be at 10.00h, to continue with the contribution of Marina de Badalona to these days with the conference “Metamodel of the Sustainable Digital Port” in which Lluís Martín, consultant in digital transformation, will present the study and implementation of the digital control tools of the marinas and tourist ports of Catalonia.

The objective is to make a more effective, attractive, safe and sustainable management and encourage the development towards the autonomous management of these infrastructures. The presentation is complemented by a round table in which Mercè Rius, Jordi Ortiz, CEO of Secartys; Ricardo Vallespir, head of digital transformation at the Barcelona North Chamber of Commerce, Roger Llovet, head of The Blue Guest, and Lourdes Muñoz, president of the Barcelona Open Data initiative.

 

In the second edition of Mobile Week Badalona, the city organizes 34 activities between April 25 and 30. During these days 22 conferences and 12 workshops will be held for all types of public and divided into three main themes: digital rights and responsibilities, digital professional skills and the role of education and, finally, culture, creativity, entertainment and new digital formats.

As a closing, Badalona will celebrate a family day in which a scape room will be organized to bring technology and science to young and old and introduce the role of women in the STEAM professions. Mobile Week is an initiative born in 2021 by the Mobile World Capital Barcelona Foundation in collaboration with the Generalitat de Catalunya. Its objective is to offer the Catalan cities participating in the Mobile Week, receiving a very good reception from the citizens.

In this second edition Badalona takes a step forward involving the economic and social fabric of Badalona to place the city at the forefront of municipalities that are committed to innovation and technology.
